the heartpiece of our design was the poster.
going off the rooster image, which was used as a design element in previous festival years, we quickly decided on a hand-drawn band of roosters and chickens.
the design process was split into two parts: the first consisted of making the elements and designing the "bigger" products, that needed to be ordered in advance. this included the poster, the flyer, the brochure, the t-shirt, the cups and the stickers.
the t-shirt design ended up featuring most of the illustrative elements we had created. the four band members, a singer, an electric guitarist, a cellist and the drummer, were highlighted.
knowing we would have to deliver a considerable amount of designs for a variety of products in a very short time, we decided to build a library of hand-drawn illustrations and combine them with a bright colour palette.
our illustration library and colour palette really came into play for the many deliverables: social media posts, stickers, Spotify playlists, pricing lists, and feedback flyers, to name a few.
